PixelProof

How scoring works

PixelProof never fills in a number it did not compute. If a check cannot run, the report says so.

  1. 1. Measured checks

The Worker reads the file header for format, width, and height. When a JPEG or PNG can be decoded inside a 2 megapixel cap, it samples luminance for brightness, contrast, clipping, and edge strength. GIF and WebP keep header measurements only. Those gaps are listed, not guessed.

  2. 2. Visual review

The same image is sent to DeepSeek as deepseek-flash (DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash). The model returns subject, lighting, background, and composition scores plus issues. If the call fails or the JSON does not match the schema, visual scores are omitted.

  3. 3. Combined score

When both halves exist, the published score is 45% measured and 55% visual. If only one half exists, that half is shown and labeled. If neither exists, the report has no score.
